Mini Apple Puff Pastry Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 small Granny Smith apples; diced
  • 3 tblsp butter
  • 1 teasp cinnamon
  • 1 tblsp maple syrup
  • 1 small carton whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cut out mini rounds of puff pastry & place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Place a wire rack on top of pastries to cook evenly.

Bake @350 degrees until lightly browned; approximately 12-15 minutes.

Cool slightly; make a hole in the top of each pastry for filling.

Combine remaining ingredients in a skillet & saute until apples are tender & sauce is thick

Spoon filling into each cooked pastry & top with a dollop of whip cream.
