Crescent Italian Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 med-lg onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 4 oz can mushrooms (drained)
  • 1/2 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teasp crushed oregano
  • 1/2 teasp crushed basil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown meat & onions (salt & pepper to taste).

Add tomato sauce & mushrooms.

Place ingredients in 8" X 13" pan & sprinkle top with cheddar cheese.

Combine oregano & basil in sour cream.

Unwind rolls & place on top of cheese.

Spread 1 tblsp of sour cream mixture on each roll.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until rolls are browned.
