Yeast Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 4-5 cups flour
  • 1/2 teasp salt
  • 1/2 teasp soda
  • 1/2 teasp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Scald milk and add butter & sugar.

Cool to lukewarm & add yeast & 2 cups of flour, mix and let stand covered in warm place 1 1/2 hours

Combine rest of flour, salt, soda and baking powder, sift into other dough mix.

Roll out on floured board & cut into biscuits & let rise 1 more hour.

Bake at 425 degrees 12 minutes or until browned.
