fluffernutter frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/3 cup confectionary sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

in a medium mixing bowl, beat the fluff, peanut butter and butter at low speed until blended. increase the speed to medium and add the sugar and salt alternately with the milk, adding just enough milk to make the frosting smooth and spreadable. beat in vanilla. makes enough frosting to fill and frost two 8 or 9 inch cake layers.
