Italian Pepper & Onion Topping

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 med. onions sliced
  • 3 med. peppers ,red , yellow ,and green , makes it look better
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 can diced tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil add onionsand cook over med. heat , while slicing peppers .
Add remaining ingredients cook about 10 minutes , vegetables should be slighty crunchy .
Thick can be used with chicken , pork or link sausage
