Ingredients
- 2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
- 3/4 cup cornstarch, PLUS
- 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 t thyme
- 1/2 t basil
- 1/4 t black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Combine 1/3 c dry mix with 1 1/4 c water in small saucepan. Whisk until smooth. On med heat, bring to boil. Cook and stir 2 min until thick
This = 1 can cond. cream soup
Cream of chicken - use 1 1/4 c chicken broth instead water
Cream of mushroom - use water; add 1/4 c diced, cooked mushrooms to soup after thickens
Cream of celery - use water, add 1/4 c diced, cooked celery to soup after thickens or add dash celery seed to mix while cooking
