- 1- 8 pound standing rib roast
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Take the roast out of the refrigerator an hour before roasting.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Roast the beef for 20 minutes.
Decrease the heat to 350 degrees and continue cooking for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 110 degrees. Cover and rest for 25 minutes.
