Apple and Cinnamon baked French toast
- 1 loaf french bread
- 6 eggs
- 3 c milk
- 1 |2 c white sugar
- 1 T vanilla
- 6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 |2 brown sugar
- 2 T cinnamon
Slice bread 1 inch thick. Place close together in 9 x 13 pan.
In a bowl beat eggs, white sugar and vanilla. Pour half mixture over the bread. Place apples over bread. Pour remainder of egg mixture over apples. cover and refrigerate overnite.
sprinke with brown sugar and cinnamon in the morning.
Bake uncovered at 350 for about 1 hour. Serve with maple syrup and|or whipped cream.
