Make Ahead Sandwiches

These are great for picnics and trips. They keep well when made ahead and refrigerated the day before.

Ingredients
- 2 unsliced loaves (1 pound each) Italian bread
- 1 8ozs pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (4 ozs) shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup sliced green onion (optional)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise OR Miricle Whip
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 pounds thinly sliced fully cooked ham, roast beef, turkey OR other thinly sliced lunch meat of your choice
- 12-14 Bread and Butter thin sliced pickles, blotted dry OR pickles of your choice

Preparation
Step 1
Cut the bread in half lengthwise.
Hollow out top and bottom of loaves, leaving a 1/2 inch shell (discard removed bread or use it for something else)
Combine cheeses, onions, mayonaise and Worcestershire Sauce. Spread over cut sides of bread.
Layer meat on both top and bottom sides of bread. Place pickles, if using, on bottom halves. Gently press together.
Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Can be made ahead and stored in refrigerator for up to a day.
