Blueberry Sauce

One of Dad's favorites especially on pancakes and waffles. Good over ice cream too.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water, add blueberries and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until clear and thickened, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Chill until ready to use.
