Ingredients

  • Sauce

    cups brown sugar, packed

  • 1

    cup whipping cream

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • 1/4

    cup cornstarch in 1/2 cup milk

  • Pudding

  • 1 1/2

    cups flour

  • 2

    tsp baking soda

  • 1

    tsp baking powder

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1/2

    cup molasses

  • 1/2

    cup boiling water

  • 2

    cups cranberries

Directions

Sauce Mix together and cook in double boiler until thick (about 2 hours) Pudding Combine dry ingredients in a bowl In a measuring cup measure the molasses, then add boiling water to make 1 cup. Mix well. Add molasses mixture to flour and stir until blended. Mix in cranberries. Cover well with foil, steam for 2 hours.
