Zippy Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup picante sauce
  • 1/2 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • tortilla chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown meat; drain off fat. Stir in beans and picante sauce. Cover and simmer for 10 mins, stirring occasionally. Add velveeta cheese and stir until melted.

2. For each serving, top chips with lettuce, tomato and meat and additional shredded ch
