Ingredients
- $25 frosting:
- 1 1/2 cups cooking oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 whole eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups grated carrots(5 or 6)
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup oleo
- 1 cup sugar

Step 1
mix oil and sugar
add vanilla and eggs
add baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon
mix well and add carrots, flour and nuts
bake 350 45 min- makes 3 layers
