cup butter, 1 stick, room temperature
ripe (yellow with brown spots )bananas, mashed but don't over mash. Chunky bananas are great in this recipe!
cups flour, sifted
tsp. baking soda
cup chopped nuts (optional)
cup raisins (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spray loaf pan with non-stick spray 3. Cream butter and sugar together. Add 1 egg at a time 4. Add bananas to butter mixture 5. Mix in flour and baking soda in separate bowl. Mix in with butter and banana mixture. 6. Add raisins and nuts 7. Add vanilla 8. Bake 30-40 minutes.
