small packages instant Pistachio (or other flavor – use your imagination)

Use a 13 x 9 inch glass dish for this so you can see the layers through the glass First Layer: Mix all ingredients for first layer and press into bottom of a 9 x 13 dish. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes and cool. Second layer: Mix all ingredients for second layer together (helps to have a heavy duty mixer). Spread onto cooled bottom layer of Torte. Third Layer: Beat ingredients for third layer together well and pour over previous layer. Fourth Layer: Spread cool whip onto third layer, sprinkle with nuts. Chill overnight and serve cold, cutting into Keeps well in fridge for several days, covered with waxed paper or plastic wrap.
