Ingredients

  • 2 T peanut oil
  • 1 lb green beans or long beans, cut into 5" pieces
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 T minced ginger
  • 1 T Chinese black vinegar
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T chili garlic paste

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the oil in a wok or large, heavy skillet over high heat until almost smoking. Add the beans and cook, stirring and turning frequently, until wrinkled and browned, about seven minutes. Stir in the garlic, ginger, vinegar, sugar and chili paste. Stir 30 seconds and serve.
