Ingredients
- 2 quarts chopped green tomatoes
- 3 each green, red peppers
- 5 large onions
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons celery seed
- 2 tablespoons mustard seed
- 1 tablespoon allspice
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Grind coarse tomatoes, peppers, onions. Put in large pan, put salt in and let stand 10 minutes. Drain, then mix all spices, sugar and vinegar in. Boil 10 minutes. Put hot in jars and seal.
