Pork Chop and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 thick slices each: onion, green pepper, tomato
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp thyme

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chops and put on top of rice in casserole. Place vegetables on chops and secure with a toothpick.

Heat consomme and water in pan with seasonings. Pour over chops.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
