Ingredients
- 3 to 3-1/2 pounds beef bottom round roast
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sliced carrot (1 to 2 carrots)
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried tarragon leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Place roast in a baking pan.
Combine remaining ingredients in medium-sized bowl and pour over meat.
Bake 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
