  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbls. dark corn syrup
  • 1 stick butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of nutmeg and cinnamin
  • thick sliced french bread



Step 1

Cook butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in saucepan over med-low heat until sugar is disoved. Pour into 9x13 pan. Layer bread on top of mixture. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamin together. Pour this mixture on top of bread slices, cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degress for 45 minutes.
