White Butter Cake

Ingredients

• Beat together:
• 1 1/2 sticks butter
• 2 C sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp salt
• add alternately:
• 3 1/2 c cake flour
• 1 1/2 tsp B powder
• 3/4 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 1/4 C milk
• 3/4 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat 3/4 C egg whites until foamy. Gradually add 1/2 C sugar until forms stiff peaks.
Fold into batter.
