Ingredients

  • 1/2 C fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 C parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp crushed oregano leaves
  • generous dash pepper
  • 2 (10 /4 oz) cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C milk
  • 4 lbs chicken parts
  • generous dash garlic powder
  • paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Combine crumbs, 1/4 C parmesan, oregano, pepper and garlic powder. Roll chicken in mixture. Arrange skin-side down in shallow baking dish (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 2 1/2) or divide between 2 2 qt shallow baking dishes (12 x 8 x 2). Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn and bake 20 minutes more.

Meanwhile, blend soup and milk and pour over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika and remaining cheese. Bake 20 minutes more or until done.
