cheddar cheese minute rice

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked minute original rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet on medium heat, drain fat.

stir in water, catsup, mustard, salt and pepper. bring to boil

stir in rice, cover. remove from heat. let stand 5 minutes. fluff with fork, sprinkle with cheese, cover. let stand 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
