Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon with drippings saved
- 1 large sweet diced onion
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 6 c. chicken broth
- 10 large potatoes, baked, peeled, diced
- 2 c. half ānā half
- 3 tsp. garlic
- 3 tsp. dried basil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Step 1
Cook bacon and set aside. Cook onions in bacon drippings until transparent. Whisk in flour, and 1 c. of hot broth. Cook 3-5 minutes. Transfer to large crock pot and add remaining ingredients.
