Almond Toffee Bars
If able to get McIntosh Toffee Bars substitute the caramel for 3 boxes of toffee.
Great for a hostess gift with recipe attached.
- 168 grams of caramel toffee
- 2 tsp cream
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 1 cup slivered almonds
Melt toffee, cream and butter in saucepan and bring just to a boil and remove immediately. Add almonds and corn flakes. Place in buttered 9x9 pan lined with buttered saran wrap. Use saran edges to pull out squares and cut into squares before fully cooled. Place in sealed container. Drizzle with chocolate for a more decadent bar....this recipe is fantastic?
