Pecan Tartlets

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1/2 lb. Butter or Margarine
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Cream Cheese
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 3 Eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1 Cup Karo (light)
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Pecans (chopped)

Preparation

Step 1

Let ingredients come to room temperature and make a pastry. Roll and cut into 3 inch circles. Fit into small muffin cups and fill 2/3 full with filling.

Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Reduce to 250° for 10 - 15 minutes. Filling should be firm.
