Ingredients
- 5 lbs (14-16C) flour
- 4 pkg yeast
- 1 C warm water
- 3 C scalded milk
- 2 1/8 C melted margerine
- 1 1/2-2 C sugar
- 3 t salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 lb currents
- 1 lb raisins
- 1/2 lb citron
- 1/2 lb finely chopped almonds
- butter
- confectioners sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Make a dough from first 4 ingredients: put flour in large container and make a dent. Dissolve yeast in water and add to lukewarm milk. Put into dent stirring to gradually add flour to make a 'brie'. Rise for 30min. Add second set of 4 ingredients and knead. Add fruit and nuts. Knead. Let rise til double. Punch down, cut and shape, and put on greased and dusted cookie sheet. Rise to double, 1/2 to 3/4 hrs.
Bake at 350* 1/2hr - 3/4hr. Brush w/ melted butter and sprinkle with confectioners sugar
