Pumpkin Dessert

Family's favorite pumpkin dessert.

Ingredients

• st Layer:
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 tsps. cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. cloves
• 29 oz. can pure pumpkin
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. ginger
• 13 oz. evap. milk
• nd. Layer:
• 1 box yellow cake mix (not cake mix with pudding)
• 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
• 1/2 to 1 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients for 1st layer with a wire whip. Pour into ingredients 9x13 pan.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mix in pan.

Cut butter into pieces and place all over top of cake of cake mix.(1 stick should cover 1/2 of pan) Sprinkle nuts on top.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake 40-45 minutes longer.
