Ingredients
- 1/2 lard
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten in 1/2 cup ice water

crumble all ingredients until small like peas. To this add egg and water. Mix with hand until dough forms a ball. Roll into desired form and thickness. If making a single pie shell, make sure you prick the bottoms and sides before baking to prevent shrinkage. pucker edges to form crust and bake 425 for 10 minutes
