Caramel Rice Krispie Bars

Ingredients

  • lst Layer:
  • 1/4 Cup Margarine
  • 5 Cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 5 Cups Rice Krispies
  • nd Layer:
  • 14 ounces of caramels (1 bag)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/4 Sticks Margarine
  • rd Layer:
  • 1/4 cup Margarine
  • 5 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 5 Cups Rice Krispies

Preparation

Step 1

*l st Layer:*
Melt Margarine and marshmallows in pan then stir mixture into Rice Krispies. Flatten out in buttered jelly roll pan (I use a buttered sandwich baggie to do this)

*2nd Layer:*
Melt above and spread over Rice Krispies mixture. Let set at least 40 minutes or overnight. ( I usually just let mine sit approximately 1 hour)

*3rd Layer:*
Repeat as for layer 1 and flatten out in jelly roll pan lined with buttered waxed paper. When set up, turn onto the pan with the caramel mixture.
