Almond Joy or Mound Candy

These are a very easy treet to liven up your Christmas trays.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 1/2 lb white chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened or sweetened coconut
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Toasted almonds, optional
  • 1 lb. chocolate to coat, dark, milk, or white

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the cream in a double boiler. Add the chocolate and stir till melted. Add the coconut and extract and stir . Now refrigerate this till rolling consistency. This may take overnight. Roll out a ball and set an almond, if using, in the middle. Now roll this in chocolate of choice. Let it chill to set.
