Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) butter, cut into 8 pieces
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Preparation

Step 1


1. Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
2. Place water, butter and eggs into the Vitamix container and secure lid.
3. Select Variable 1.
4. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 4.
5. Blend for 15 seconds or until ingredients are mixed. Stop machine and remove lid.
6. Add flour, salt and sugar and secure lid.
7. Select Variable 1.
8. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
9. Blend for 4 minutes or until mixture has thickened. (Sound of motor will change when thickened.)
10. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto cookie sheet. Leave 2 inches between puffs.
11. Bake for 35 minutes. Puffs should be golden brown and crispy to the touch.
12. Cool shells. Slice top off and fill with cream or other filling of your choice. Replace top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
