Cornbread Dressing

This family recipe is perfect for you next holiday gathering. Cornbread Dressing pairs well with turkey, gravy, and all the usual delicious holiday sides. This recipe is super simple to make and it serves a crowd of hungry houseguests.
Ingredients
- 1 (8.5-ounce) box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ground sage
- 2 tablespoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 5 slices stale white bread

Step 1
Make the Jiffy Cornbread Mix according to the package instructions. Then, in a large bowl, crumble cornbread and stale white bread together. Then, add finely chopped onion, celery, sage, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add enough stock to moisten the bread mixture to your liking. Water to can be added if you run out of stock. Pour into a greased 13x9-pan, then dot the top with butter. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.
