Basic Quiche (crustless) THM-S

My variation on recipe found in Trim Healthy Mama book. KC

Ingredients

  • Other ingredient options:
  • 12 eggs
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • chicken or turkey
  • turkey or chicken sausage
  • bacon bits
  • grated cheese (2 cups)
  • chopped onion, red peppers, garlic,
  • sliced green onion
  • veggies such as spinach, broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, etc.
  • sliced tomatoes on top sprinkled with salt, pepper, Italian seasonings

Preparation

Step 1

Crack eggs into bowl and whisk thoroughly. Add sea salt & pepper to taste.
Add any of optional ingredients as desired.
Bake in well greased baking dish or 2 quiche/pie dishes at 350 degrees 30-45 minutes or until done.


Note: If you miss the crust you could try sprinkling ground nuts & a little salt in bottom of the well greased baking dish before pouring in the quiche mixture. This gives the hint of a crust without actually being a full crust.
