Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups regular rolled oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a very large mixing bowl, beat butter with electric mixer 30 seconds. Beat in sugars, oil, eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture; beat till well combined. Stir in rolled oats, coconut, raisins, chocolate pieces and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 325F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or till edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Transfer to wire racks; cool.
