Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup mashed, ripe, banana
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup (6 oz) semi-sweet choc chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg, banana and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stirs in chips.

Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2" apart, onto cooking sheet that is sprayed lightly with non-stick cooking spray.

Bake at 350 deg for 9-11 mins or until the edges are lightly browned. Remove and place on cooling rack.
