Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 Cup Regular or Quick Oats
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 1 Large Egg Beaten
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Garnish:1/2 cups choc chips melted in a ziploc bag to drizzle over cookies, if desired.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Line baking sheet with non stick foil or parchment.
In a saucepan, melt butter over med low heat, stir in oats, sugar, egg, flour and baking powder. and blend well. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls on sheet 3 inches apart.
Bake for 4 to 8 minutes until edges are light brown. Cool on foil. When cool, slide foil on edge of countertop so you can peel cookies away when cool. Drizzle on chocolate if using.
