Meat marinara sauce

Ingredients

• 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
• 1 lb ground beef
• 6 ea garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 C onion, minced
• 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
• 15 oz can tomato sauce
• 12 oz can Tomato Paste
• 1/2 C water
• 2 TBS sugar
• 1/2 TBS dried basil
• 2 TBS chopped fresh parsley
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground black pepper
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Saute Italian Sausage, ground beef, garlic, and onion until meat is browned. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 6 hours.
