Dinner Rolls

Light rolls that are very good.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • Heat to 120 degrees (usually equals 2 minutes in the microwave)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • Gradually add milk to flour,beating as you add. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed.
  • Beat on high for two minutes
  • Add Approx. 2 - 3c. flour

Preparation

Step 1

Knead. Cover with plastic wrap and towel. let rest 20 minutes. (Doesn't rise much) punch down.Divide in to 3 before shaping. ( I make crescents-roll out a circle, cut it into fourths, then cut each fourth into thirds. Roll into crescents.) Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Cover with plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator for 2 - 24 hours. Before you are ready to bake, let stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.
