Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- Heat to 120 degrees (usually equals 2 minutes in the microwave)
- 1 c. milk
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- Gradually add milk to flour,beating as you add. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed.
- Beat on high for two minutes
- Add Approx. 2 - 3c. flour
Preparation
Step 1
Knead. Cover with plastic wrap and towel. let rest 20 minutes. (Doesn't rise much) punch down.Divide in to 3 before shaping. ( I make crescents-roll out a circle, cut it into fourths, then cut each fourth into thirds. Roll into crescents.) Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Cover with plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator for 2 - 24 hours. Before you are ready to bake, let stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.
