Chicken Lazone

Ingredients

  • Heavy Cream Substitute:
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 . Melt the butter.
  • 2 . Pour it into the milk, and stir.
  • 3 . Use in place of one cup of heavy cream.
  • Note: This substitute while not whip.
  • Tip: If you use low-fat milk, add a tablespoon of flour to the mixture to thicken.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the seasonings and coat chicken breasts.

In large saute pan melt half of the butter and cook chicken over medium heat for about 7 to 8 minutes, turning once.

Pour the cream into the skillet and lower the heat.

Simmer for several minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens then add the remaining butter.

When butter is melted place chicken breasts on four plates and top with the sauce.
