Hot Bacon Dressing

  • 2 Tb floured (rounded)
  • 1/2 Tb yellow mustard
  • 6 Tb vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 Tb sugar
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lb bacon



Step 1

In a saucepan flour, sugar, mustard, beaten egg, vinegar and salt. Mix together until completely blended, add water, a little at a time stirring constantly over low heat. Dressing will thicken, keep stirrer until smooth constitency, so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Fry bacon in small pieces, add to mixture with 1 or 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
