Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Garlic salt



Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
Combine in large bowl biscuit mix, garlic powder and cheese.
Add buttermilk and stir. If mixture seems too dry add a little more milk, but only enough to make it slightly sticky. If they are too wet, they will flatten out.
Spoon large lumps of mixture onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
While they are baking, melt butter with oregano and garlic salt.
After 10 minutes remove biscuits, brush with butter mixture and return to oven.
Bake another 5 minutes or until lightly brown.
