Ingredients
- 1/2 to 3/4 pound flank or sirloin steak, cut thinly across grain
- dash pepper
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. soya sauce
- few drops of sesame oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 bunch bok choy
- 1/2 pound bean sprouts
- 1/2 pound cabbage, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
- 1 green pepper, sliced thin
- 1/2 can bamboo shoots
- 1/2 can water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate beef with starch, pepper, soya sauce and sesame oil. Brink wok to high heat; add 2 tbsp. cooking oil. Add veggies and 1/2 tsp. salt. Stir. Add 2 tbsp. water, cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes. Remove to plate and wipe wok clean. Hat work and add 2 tbsp. peanut oil. Put in garlic to brown. Add beef, stir fry until done. Return veggies to pan, stir fry and heated and serve immediately.
