sheet puff pastry defrosted
(3 Oz.) pkg. softenedcream cheese
cup almond paste
cup of favorite preserves
cup powdered sugar
On floured surface; roll out pastry sheet to 13" X 7" rectangle. In small bowl; combined the cream cheese and almond paste till smooth. Spoon mixture lengthwise down center 1/3 of rectangle; now spoon preserves on top of chees mixture. On each long side of rectangle make cuts 1" apart to almost reach center. Fold opposite sides forming the appearance of a braid. Seal ends shut. Bake 18-22 mins. until golden brown. Remove from sheet to cool. I small cup; combine powdered sugar and milk and mix till smoth. Drizzle over pastry.
