Fudge Pecan Pie

A great recipe that makes 4 pies and freezes really well.

Ingredients

  • cup margarine

  • 6

    squares (6oz) unsweetened chocolate

  • 8

    eggs

  • 4

    Tblsp flour

  • 6

    Tblsp light corn syrup

  • 4

    cups sugar

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • 2

    tsp. vanilla

  • 3

    cups chopped pecans

Directions

Melt butter and chocolate together. Cool. Beat eggs, add flour and beat well. Add corn syrup, sugar, salt and vanilla and mix well again. Add chocolate to mixture and then nuts. Pour into four 9 inch pie shells. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let rest in oven with open door for 10 minutes. (Turn oven off) These pies freeze really well and are really yummy.
