Ingredients

  • 1/3 c butter
  • 1/3 c flour
  • 1/3 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 3/4 C chicken or turkey broth
  • 2/3 C milk
  • 2 C chopped chicken or turkey
  • 10 OZ mixed vegetables
  • 1 can new potatoes
  • Pie crust
  • 2 C flour
  • 3/4 c shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 C cold water
  • Or can use can of crescent rolls or left over mashed potatoes

Step 1

Heat butter over low heat until melted. blend in flour, onion, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in broth and milk. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. boil and stir 1 minute. Stire in chicken vegetables and potatoes.

Cover with crust. Bake uncovered 425 until crust is brown, 30-35 minutes.
