Ingredients
- 1/4 lb lean bacon (5 slices)
- 3/4 cup uncooked, boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bit sized pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 can (11oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 pkg (8oz) spaghetti or linguini, broke in half.
Preparation
Step 1
Start boiling water for the past.
Over medium heat, fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels, saving 2 TBSP of dripping.
Over medium heat, cook chicken in the drippings until no longer pink (3-4 minutes)
Add pasta to boiling water.
Add salt, pepper, soup and water to chicken. Bring to a boil.
Stir in cooked pasta.
Crumble bacon and add to pasta (saving 2 tbsp for garnish, if desired).
Bring to boil over medium heat; reduce heat to low and simmer 305 minutes until heated thoroughly; Stirring frequently
Serve immediately
