Ingredients
- 8 cups 2% milk
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 12 candy canes
- 3/4 cup mini marshmallows
- grated nutmeg

Step 1
Combine milk, brown sugar, cocoa, vanilla, nutmeg, and semi-sweet chocolate in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook 25 minutes or until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth, stirring occasionally. Serve with candy canes and marsmallows. Garnish with nutmeg, if desired.
