- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 10 oz lasagna noodles
- 2 eggs
- 2 C ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 C sour cream
- 2 T parsley flakes

- 1 1/2 tsp salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 (#1_ can tomatoes
- 2 (6oz) cans tomato paste
- 1 1/2 C water, optional

- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 C each grated parmesan and romano
- 1 C grated cheddar
- 1 lb mozzarella, sliced very thin

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat slowly with garlic and onion.
Spoon off excessive fat. Add next 7 ingredients in column 2. Simmer uncovered about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Beat eggs, add ricotta, sour cream, parsley, salt and pepper.
Layer in a 13x9 inch baking dish in the following order: noodles, sauce, ricotta filling, cheeses, ending with mozzarella. Should make 3 layers.
Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Let stand 10 min before serving. Lasagna can be prepared early and refrigerated until time to heat and serve.
