Step 1

Take a 3 lb beef boneless chuck roast and put in a slow cooker. Then mix 1 1/2 c water, 1/3 soy sauce, 1 tsp dired rosemary leaves, 1 tsp dried thyme leaves, 1 chopped clove garlic, 3-4 peppercorns, 1 dried bay leaf and add to slow cooker. Cook 7-8 hours. Skim off fat and use juice for dip. Slice meat and put in French bread loves. WE TRIED THIS 11/2011 AND EVERY LOVED IT, EVEN BRADY, ATE NEARLY HALF HIS BIG SANDWHICH.
